These arms do infact have rockers... I am about to replace mine in the passenger side becasue I think I tweaked one when I lost some valves replacing my timing chains... and it makes a ticking...

All done... back together... had 2 bent valves.. had them replaced and reseated... new head gasket, new head bolts, new cam..

now i have tapping lifters on the same side as the issue......

4.0 used engine years i can use for my 03

I'm thinking about just replacing my 4.0 with another one after my timing chain issue blew up in my face today. will a 2004 or 2005 engine work with my 03 computer? And have they fixed the timing...

No.. we started it and the cam jumped and the head moved 45 degrees apart from the block... however when we retimed it.. i still have compression in all the cylinders...

I just did all the chains and guides because mine was making a noise..
pulled the motor.. Had a friend with the timing kit that ford has for this engine.....

I am pulling the engine in my 2003 FX4 4.0 manual tranny. This is due to the infamous tensioners on the timing chains... So I am making a list of things to change while it is out. Here is my list......

My 03 ranger fx4 calls for limited slip additive and in the rear it wants 75w-140.

Auto zone has mobile 1 ls... I'm assuming this has the additive in it but it does not say on the bottle... they...
