Hi, I just discovered my transmission cooling line is leaking just where the metal meets the rubber hose at the clamp. The metal line is pretty rusted from the road salt over the years and being 16...

Re: Evap Core Replacement

Amen! I am glad someone else understands my pain. I am sure you get all 4 seasons within a couple days like Ohio. It's too bad your son didn't make a how to video. It's the only video that Chris Fix...

Re: Cover Master Tonneau Cover Lock

I cut the rod part that comes out of the other end of the lock that two rods connect to for the latches. It was very corroded, this was the only way to get it off. I didn't damage the cover any when...

Cover Master Tonneau Cover Lock

When I bought my ranger 7 years ago, it had a tonneau fiberglass cover already installed on it. I never received the key for the lock. I finally when down to a local truck cap store and picked up a...

Re: Front End knocking noise over bumps

I replaced the outers just because the boot was torn. The inner tie rods didn't have any play in them.

Its about 10 degrees out, and I haven't been able to do so yet but I saw this video that...

Front End knocking noise over bumps

Over the last year or so have I noticed somewhat up a knocking sound coming from the front end whenever I hit a bump. It doesn't happen all the time. I had the Ball Joints and Sway Bar links replaced...

Re: Power Steering Shakes after Flush

I went out and turned it a couple times all the way before I saw your comment. I will try it more tomorrow. The weird thing is the pump is actually louder now and seems a little harder to turn since...

Power Steering Shakes after Flush

I just did a power steering flush and whenever I turn the wheel, it vibrates and shakes and feels loose. I am thinking there is air in the lines. How should I approach this issue?

Thanks

Andy

Can you wet sand again after buffing? (READ)

Just Recently, I bought a tailgate painted it black and clear coated it. I thought I had gotten rid of most of the orange peel but after buffing it, there are still some spots that I feel like could...

Re: ABS kicking in at slow gradual stops problem

Just an update to this thread. I was finally able to take it to my mechanic for this problem. And those who said they thought it was the ring associated with the ABS were absolutely right. I guess...

Re: Fixing Rust spot on Front Bumper

Thanks for the reply. The before and after pictures look great. How was removing the valance for you? Most of my bolts holding are really corroded I think from all the road salt we have in Ohio.

Re: ABS kicking in at slow gradual stops problem

The pedal feels the same if you were trying to brake driving in the snow. So in a way it is kicking back.

Re: ABS kicking in at slow gradual stops problem

Re: Help Removing Fog light Lenses w/ clips

Just called them and they said they have one in stock for $47. A lot cheaper than the ones I have been finding online. About an hour drive but it will be worth it. The trick is now to find someone...
