Re: Block heater!

Planning on installing a block heater in my 2002 Ranger. It starts up great - new DieHard battery and plugs - BUT the clutch is frozen up til the truck warms up 15 - 20 minutes. Hope this helps?

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread

Today: Midas replaced my c racked radiator. They also want to replace the worn clutch. I have little power going uphill, it's challenging getting into first gear AND there's a definite aroma of...

Re: Loss of coolant somehow????? HELP!!!!

Same problem. Gauge never reads HOT but coolant tank was dust bowl dry yesterday.
Refilled it and watched as it gurgled down to empty again. Noticed a steady drip on the right hand side, turned out...

Re: ran my truck with no coolant

Ditto. Feeling pretty lame right now - Check Engine light came on,

Re: Loud clunk in the front end

Same thing here, only times two.
Purchased my 2001 Ranger XL four months ago. Dealer (in Michigan)
said it was "the best used truck on the lot." And, uh, I ... believed him.
Forked over $2,000...
