Yea depends on location. They don't go for much here in South Texas but then again there's an abundance of trucks including rangers and rust isn't really a problem lol.

Thats correct my good man, El Valle. Didn't think there was that much variance in vehicle resale price between markets. I knew supply and demand and all that but given that its a faily common truck...

Could be a bad relay or a bad ground. Start at the relays and fuses and maybe swap it out with another to see if it follows the relay.

My thoughts exactly. I'm thinking some kind of short. So I woulkd say start digging for shorts and check for blown fuses. No idea what else that would mean at the moment.

yea man you need to regear and get those codes fixed then catch up with all the regular maintenance. mine sounded like yours when I got it but now it runs so much better and I am lifted with 31s. fix...

a headache rack might be in order...otherwise strap it down from the top and rear/sides. not recommending this but if it was me I'd lay it down and just let it sit upright at home for a day or two...
