I am selling a set of four (4) wheels and new all-season tires off of a late 80's-early '90's Ford Ranger. We have a body shop and we had a wrecked 1990 Ranger in the shop and mounted up new tires on...

The engine bay isn't that dirty...it's an engine bay! lol. I didn't detail it like my Crossfire's.
Price is hard to pin down considering the low miles and all the maintenance I did, but the...

2000 Ranger XLT 77k, 3.0, auto, 4x4, 4 door, stepside, rebuilt salvage
I bought a Ranger last year with light front damage for use as a shop truck. I looked for a while to find a Blue 4x4 3.0 auto 4 door stepside. I put a lot of work into it to make it mechanically and...

Re: Door Ajar light (But it's NOT the switch)
yea, I'm guessing the PO didn't take too much care in maintaining it. I love my new Focus, so I have nothing against FORD...just this one has been a pain. The interior is in nice shape at least and...

Re: Door Ajar light (But it's NOT the switch)
I hate the thing b/c every time I fix one thing something else immediately goes wrong and in Ford's infinite design wisdom, nothing is ever easy to fix. I've done the oil pan (drop most of the front...

Door Ajar light (But it's NOT the switch)
So I have an electrical gremlin for sure. I have a 2000 Supercab 4x4 3.0 Auto and have had a good portion of common problems known to the Ranger in the year and a half that I've owned it.
So...

Chrome Rear Bumper for Stepside bed
Hi,
Looking for a chrome rear bumper for a step side bed, mine has rusted off the brackets. Also, if someone has a good tailgate for a step side I'd be interesting in that too.
I'll pick it...

Re: do i need a new oil pan?
I replaced mine a few weeks ago on a pretty rusty truck. It was a huge pain for sure, but at least you wont have to pull the motor.

Re: Ford work instructions to replace oil pan 3.0 4x4
I believe so. The work instructions say to unbolt the diff and drop it for a few inches clearance. A few inches is plenty in the front, the problem you run into is in the back if you try to leave the...

Progress!
The new pan is finally in and most everything is back together. Only time will tell if it leaks. I spent the extra money on a metal reinforced gasket so hopefully that'll help too.

I keep finding more rotted out. Now I have to replace the radiator support. There's nothing...

I just bought a 2000 4Dr supercab at an auction and it has some rust issues underneath that I need to address. The price was right so they are not real big deals.
I have to replace part of the...
