I experienced the same thing yesterday. All 8 plugs had a .080+ gap. I put new Autolites in, gapped at .045.

Just a side note, Mazda gauges are the same. I swapped from a '95 B2300 into my '96 Ranger. Plug and play.

I also did the GPS recalibrate. Install the gauges without the clear cover. pull the speedo needle off and go down the road. Get a steady speed and set the needle at the correct speed. Very easy.
