Re: How To: Replace front brake pads
I mean... you could push the pistons back without opening the system but you'll be pushing all that dirty fluid past your combination valve and brakes lines which can get damaged.
The best way is...

Re: starting to run hot
Could be as simple and cheap as a rad cap. The valves/seal in the cap could be bad and not pressurizing the system causing it to boil.

Re: 2003 2.3L - Engine running rough
The A/C compressor won't be the problem. It's suppose to engage and disengage every few seconds. It's a cycling clutch system.
In regards to your engine drivability, the only thing you changed was...

Re: How To: Replace front brake pads
The order is correct. But anytime you install new pads you have to push the pistons back the entire way so the new pads fit. Since you open system up to push back the pistons, you must bleed all four...

Re: How To: Replace front brake pads
The safest way to compress the pistons back in the bores is to have a hose attached to the bleeder screw and open it. As you compress, the fluid will come out as opposed to being forced back into the...

Re: changing pcv valve 2003 ranger 2.3
It is a closed system. It's recycled through the intake, like you said, making it closed. Open means you'd have a breather filter open to the atmosphere.

Re: How hard to do turbo setup?
If you're not looking to boost too much, you can have a turbo with stock internals. Typically it's no more than 7 pounds. If you wanna push more you'd have to build your valvetrain and pistons.

Well, the PCV isn't exactly open to a breather. They used too. They're recycled and are all closed systems in modern cars.

Re: wiper/ winder cleaner control not working
Could be the switch for the windshield wiper/washer has gone bad.
You can check if the motor still work. Just check to make sure it's receiving power. if it does than the switch is bad.

Re: rotors warped at 18,000 miles
Did the rotors have new pads or used pads?
Used pads have a wear pattern that can warp a rotor pre-maturely.
Or continous hard stops or excess heat was placed on the rotors and warped them.
