Got code reader. Hooked it up and it does not read anything but the 000. i let it stay in the KOEO postion and the pump ran continously the whole time but the code reader never read any codes. it...

grounded control at the diagnostic as advised and nothing happened, no pump running.
grounding = sticking copper wire in the clip and grounding other end.

signs of moisture near computer but not...

No. reason = go to get relay at parts store and its not the right one. will have to wait till monday and try dealer.
not sure how to check it if that is possible.

no mom's day this year.

every time. the only time it does not is with the relay pulled, TFI pulled it still does, and the code reader i got sets there with 000 and reads nothing. in KOEO

if that is to mean 'check fusebox' that is the first thing i did and all good to go.

unplugged the relay and it does not run at all.

put code reader on it and it does not read (no little triangle)

i took time off from re-wiring the space shuttle, solving the worlds problems, etc and got a code reader. i can't even get it to have the little triangle in the bottom of...

i was just at autozone and was going to get a relay incase this one is bad and at least i could see what it looks like.

i was told it does not have a relay.

thanks for input.
i replaced the fuel pump regulator which is located under the hood.
advice to me is that it is electrial in nature.

I obviously don't know though.

my fuel pump keeps running after the normal 'priming period'.

on advice from another thread- disconnected the TFI and the pump still runs continously when i turn the key.

have no idea how to...

think i found the TFI. plugs into the distributor just below the cap. there are two more electrical unions to the front of the distributor but the TFI plugs directly to it as i understand it.

It runs terrible. backfiring and won't pull a hill. hardly idles and kinda stuck at work with it right now.

When i turn the key the fuel pump primes like it should. But it keeps running.
I recently replaced the fuel filter and i dont see leekage anywhere.

I have already replaced the fuel pump...
