Try the same trick I just learned in the previous post, disconnect neg battery cable, unplug MAF (at end of air intake pass front), reconnect battery cable then see if it runs. If thats the case...

I think that stepson misread the gauge. In any event, I was still doing research & found on a post # 25768 on 02/03/11 (I think) FordRanger4x4 had posted to someone else:

2000 ranger 3.0 won't start has fuel & spark
Hi, I'm new here and having problems with stepsons 2000 Ranger with the 3.0. It died when driving so he had it towed to my place. It seems to want to start but doesn't. The only error code it showed...
