Hi Folks!
What is considered normal oil consumption in a 4.0 OHV engine with 130.000 miles (210,000 km)?
I change the oil and filter every 6.000 miles (10.000 Km) using always Synthetic Motorcraft...

Finally, after reviewing the wiring and find no anomaly, I reassembled everything and turned attention for the power distribution box under the hood... There I found a blown fuse!

Correct ... it's what I'll have to do. I will disassemble the bottom panel and try to find the wire path. Finally, in case of failure, I'll make a "bypass" taking the lighter power.

Ok... but it's basically the same vehicle... Ranger is a worldwide vehicle... brazilian factory only assemble the same components.

Inside that compartment there is a third power outlet... comes factory standard on 98 model.
My truck does not have passenger airbag...

1998 4.0 4X2 with camper shell... on the road about 20Mpg regular gasoline and 26Mpg on gas (GNV)

The truck had just jamming in the sand, and I had to dig around the wheels to get out... My wife just took the photo as soon as I left :eek:...
