My front drive shaft is leaking where it enters the pumpkin.
I am debating whether to do it myself or have it done....

IMHO, That would look better in my engine compartment, not yours......but I am a fan of color matching, my alternator is powdercoated the same color as my truck, i never did anything extra like that...

My truck does that and IAC wasnt it, it just does it. but it is literally only like 100 rpms difference or so.
I think it is just the computer regulating itself.

I like Botta's answer, and must add that you use a vac while doing it to ensure no metal goes into the cylinder. On small engines I use a house vacs crevice tool to increase the suction in that area...
