Re: What is the best price for a used Ranger?

I bought mine in March for $6,000 with 4X4, 4.0L, EC XLT offroad with 17,000 original miles. It had been wrecked though and just put back together.

HELP please.

My dad has a 2000 mazda with the 4.0 ohv, the other day the fuel gauge died and today the truck stopped running. My guess is the fuel pump and sender went bad. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Re: Stalling, Feels Like No Fuel, Switch Tanks PERFECT

Check to see if you have a cloged filter on the end of the pickup tube in the tank, I had a 78 Ford do that to me.

Re: I must admit I like the SMALLER TRUCK

I've had my Ranger for a month now and I love it, I'm getting around 19 to 20 mpg. It reminds me of driving a small gas version of my Superduty.

Re: The mid 80's diesel...

There was a local classified add in November that a guy had an 86 XLT 4X4 that had a factory diesel in it. He actually sold it for $20,000, yes $20,000.

Voted for the Ranger. I wish they had the new Powerstroke on there, it would've gotten my vote.

Re: Thinking about a bull bar

I personaly like the bull bar, I think the brushgaurds are too big for these trucks unless they are lifted with oversize tires.

Hello from Utah

I just bought my first Ranger almost 2 weeks ago, it's a 2000 XLT, 4X4 with a 4.0L and an auto. Best thing is it only has 18,200 miles and is cheaper to drive than my stroker. I can't wait to get to...
