i used a 99 explorer 5.0 rad
it works perfect, I have manual so idk about the trans cooler lines for automatic
so if it's manual it'll deffinetly work.
but you have to have an e-fan the stock...

also what transfer would you recommend?

Questions about 99 SAS

Im thinking of doing a sas and I'm new to the whole process
i found a D44 with radius arms and trac bar and mounts with this work?

also do i have to swap the rear axle i have a 8.8 open w/ 4.10s...

yeh haha out terrain is pretty rough depending on the area you wheel, but for some reason we like to wheel that already bad terrain when it has 3ft of snow on top of it haha

im gonna go with the timken ones they seem to have a lot of positive feedback, and they actually are cheap, SKF and junk auto zone ones are even more expensive

yeh i can get new ones under warranty but i have to install them myself, which is fine but every month doing the same job it annoying.

I have a 99 ranger so it has the IFS with 35" LT tires the pep boys hubs can't handle it what is a company that makes strong wheel bearings for the ranger so i don't have to fix it every month

its going to cost me $10 more i guess it cant hurt especially with slow speed off roading and the custom skid plate i have that limits air flow

i work at pep boys and took both out of the box today and all the mounting holes line up, so i think it'll work, and its twice the amount of radiator as the stock so there would definitely be more...

yes it does over heat everything else is new, so i believe the rad is clogged so while im replacing it why not spend 10$ and get one that cools better

the explorer 5.0 one looks like it will fit

how to swap a 302 into 1999 ranger?!

I have a 99 ranger 3.0 5spd. i've been wanting to
do a 302 efi swap. but I'm nit sure where to
start. can someone tell me what I'll need and how to mount it and wire it as well as pcm/ecu

it may be the valving but I do not have time to take em off have them revalved and all because I use my truck everyday plus these shocks were made specially for the rcd lift and you cannot just buy...

no the coils now are too soft and they are so shot practically botteming out on driveways and speed bumps thats why is soo bad

I have the RCD Lift on my 1999 ranger so no more torsion keys and now has
bilstein coilovers
SPECS:
Exteneded: 19.25...
Compressed: 14.49....
Spring Length/Rate: 12"/600

I want to get the FOA...
