Transmission rear seal 1985

The rear seal on the transmission on my 1985 ranger has been replaced twice. It keeps poping out of place and just won't stay in. What could cause this. Yes i have firmly and as snug I could put it...

MY '85 is in need of some patch panels. I will need to replace the two rear fenders and all four corners of the cab at the bottom. I was looking to find out where i could get/purchase the panels...

Thanks for the replies guys. Any ?s about my truck just ask. I just have a bumper hitch that's all and the gauge for my rear tank don't work either. I as well need tHat fixed

Like on all ford trucks ever made it has some termites in the fender wells and on a few corners. I will be replacing the metal with new and as far as rust throughout the body it's mainlysurface...

Looks great! The rust on the rear bumper in from the plastic bumper cover on it. What happens is it collects water and begins the rust problem. You did a great job taking care of it. Nice work
