Bulbs probably just burnt out, it's unlikely anything shorted out if the radio still works. I'm not sure how to replace them though.

Possibly the cam shaft synchronizer / position sensor failed, the shaft from this drives the oil pump. Sometimes when it fails it stops the oil pump also. Hopefully if this is what failed it's just...

Yes, they fit before lifting the t bars on my truck. My truck is a 2002, the stock ride height should be similar to yours. I think it should be similar to all pre 2008 torsion bar suspension ones....

31x10.5x15 is probably the largest tire that will fit without interference issues with stock height and 7" wide wheels. I have 31's on my 2wd edge with factory 15x7 rims, and they fit perfect.
