Yeah, you want to believe that the Ford dealer service writer knows what he's talking about but more and more I find they are very weak, just like most other types of service departments. Sad really.

I picked up an 01 4x4 in Feb with the same problem, both back doors frozen closed. 1 hour later and a can of PB Blaster and I had them open. Frozen at the bottom latch. I soaked the bottom latch from...

Had that problem on a 2001 I picked up a month ago. Both back doors frozen closed, bottom latches only. Man were they tight. A can of PB Blaster sprayed up into the bottom latch from inside and out...
