Overall the seats are ok, they just lack lumbar support and a little height. Nothing I can't live with, but for a relatively easy fix I thought it'd be worth looking into at junkyards and parts...

haha kind of my thoughts. I'll probaly go to the junk yard at some point and look for either a decent Exploder seat, or if I'm really lucky a mustang seat simply for looks.

Well kids, here she is. 98 109k miles 3.0 V6. Sold my old 98 a couple years ago and bought a Jeep Cherokee. Sold that and got back into a pickup as an extra vehicle/ toy :D:congrats:

Congrats on the fix. Just had to do a camshaft sensor and crankshaft on my jeep! For your ranger, did you need to use the tool for the cam? I've seen ti sold for about $15
