ok guys well how would a thrush welded be? they said its practically the same as a 40 series flowmaster. im really just scepticall on losing my low end torque... thats my main worry, i would like...

so you noticed a good gain in performance? and you let it exit right infront of the rear tire? did you also keep the cats in? and you think id be fine with using the stock exhaust piping behind the...

You won't do worse than 13 mpg. I have a 4.0 SOHC, 4.10 gears , 33" tires, Gibson Extreme dual exhaust and average 17.2 mpg (via my scangauge). Is your tune-up current?
So would the super 44 make...

Flowmaster 40 or 44? 3.0L
i am in a jam between the two... im going to be simply cutting out the stock exhaust and replacing it with one of these for now. ive heard the 40 series sounds awesome but not to much about the 44......
