common carp is not very good at all. Now buffalo carp on the other hand are actually pretty good. People make what are called buff balls!lol Its pretty much ground buffalo meat dipped in breading...

Well you can tape the line to anything. its so that you can unspool your reel of line and keep the line straight so you dont get any knots. AS you walk away from where the end of the line is taped...
