Re: Wet floor, sloshing sound, no drainage from the wiper cowl --> fix

Wow, and thanks. I want to confirm that pictures 2 & 4 in the first set of photos shows the fender removed. I think it does as there is a photo in the second post that shows the fender removed. I...

Re: doorlock issues

I have never heard of Triflo, but that seems to work for those guys. Thinking it though, it has to be a mechanical issue where a pin is getting stuck and not dropping like it should when you take...

Re: doorlock issues

That is weird... Is it an original key or a duplicate? I have had issues with 3rd & 4th gen duplicates in the past.

Re: doorlock issues

I had a Merc Sable wagon and the door would open but not lock for 15-20 minutes until the interior warmed up. That was such a pain in the ass!! I would drive with one hand holding the door closed...

Re: doorlock issues

WD40 is not a good idea. When it dries it leaves a residue that gets sticky. You can use silicone spray or the powdered stuff. Those will not leave a residue.

Re: Wet floor, sloshing sound, no drainage from the wiper cowl --> fix

Did you get any pictures of it? I have a '93 that sat under trees for a year so I am going to have to do some of this myself. I definitely have water coming in through the rear slider, as it...

Re: Odd intermittent sputtering problem.

My 93 did that way back when. I had to get the fuel injectors cleaned. I thought it was BS but it worked. Good luck! Let us know if it works.

Cigarette lighter connection - 1993 ranger

Bought a new socket and now I need to hook it up. Just plan to use it to power the Garmin and/or the phone charger. The old ashtray is gone (I thought it would be an easy replacement) as it was...

Re: 1993 fuse box location - it is missing???

And that is where it was... Was out there yesterday and managed to find it. Of course, I didn't look first. I saw the screws that attach the box to the trim, and then found that the box was there....

Re: Sun visor bracket - removable?

So, mine is a 1993, and it _looks_ like I can separate the bracket from the visor. I can't find the link now, but I found one of the spare parts/restoration parts places that sold the bracket (and...

Re: 1993 fuse box location - it is missing???

I sort of looked in there, but not very much. I was questioning my sanity last night when I couldn't find the cover, and the little bit of looking I did was not promising. I am going to do a little...

Replaced the headliner. Got new visors to match the color and the old ones are ratty. The new ones are just a visor - no hardware. I am hoping someone can confirm that the sun visor bracket...

1993 fuse box location - it is missing???

Seriously, it is gone. At least, the door that is supposed to be there is not there. I am guessing that the dash was replaced when the right front fender was replaced, but I am not positive. I do...

Re: Backup or reverse alarm?

Does it need the separate ground? My old PT Cruiser was an electrical nightmare, so I am hoping this will not be the same. I am also assuming I can ground to the body with a self tapping screw.
