I tried Purolator P1 once on my 03 4.0 and it rattled at startup like shit.

Motorcraft filters, Never any Issues.

My Wife's 08 Liberty gets the Bosh premium Filters, No Issues.

To the OP, Good on ya.

You take good care of your truck and it shows.

Maybe try a HM oil like Valvoline MaxLife next to keep the seals soft?

Seems pretty straight forward and I have all the electrical tools needed and then some.

Honestly it neither looks or feels like a "High Mileage" Truck.

You can use any oil that is up to ford specs. Synthetic or conventional.

Synthetics wont do ANY harm to your engine. All the old wives tales of leaks and Bla bla bla.

Also dont forget that short mileage daily trips can be just as hard on an engine.

Stop and go short trips are considered "Severe" conditions by most Automakers today.

These days tho just about any synthetic name brand oil will do a good job, Lube technology has come a Looooong way.....

There are even some Very interesting...
