i put a new flex fan on mine today it cools alot better than the stocker, idk if i lost any MPGs but the power is the same................... but it was a you know what to install, for some reason...

that fan moves some air i mean damn!!!!!, i just rode around the block (2 miles) and i could see how the stat was cycling on and off slightly with the factory gauge

well i think i will get it tomorrow and post the results on the weekend, im just doing that and a flush for now, the pump looks pretty new, i have only had the truck a year now, so i doubt its much...

i will not need that adapter, i still got the old school 4 bolts on the water pump, all i will need is the spacer :D

i was thinking that it flating would be bad tho, but thinking about it some the factory fan is still free spinning untill it get to hot then the clutch will lock it in, where even if the blades have...

well i know the fan clutch is not working, so i do think put a new clutch on it and i was planing on a new pump, and a flush/clean

BTW its $45 for a flex fan and spacer
and a new fan clutch is $43
also IIRC you can not use a fan spacer on the stock fan to avoid the clutch right

i shift at like 2500, its never hot rodded, 3.73 rear, and with 20 in hg, IMO would mean good compression, bad compression sees like 17 or under normaly
but i found the problem...... a gas leak,...
