Thanks, I'm pretty sure you are right. I went out, fiddled with the switch, and alternated it to the on and off positions a few times and now the lights are off. Appreciate the help Clinton.

It seems like buying an amp shouldn't be first on your list if your speakers get distorted from just your head unit. Buy some decent 5x7s or 6x8s...best if you get multiway speakers(2 or 3 way). ...

I have pretty much that exact same truck. I (over)paid for mine back in '05. I think I paid 7-8grand... but I will say its run great and ive only put around 500 bucks into it to keep it running....

I picked up a couple of kenwood ws12s(think that's what they're called) for 149 each brand new. They only handle 350w rms apiece but its alright for a ranger. Crutchfields giving away free shallow...

Heh... well maybe u should buy a bigger sized speedo. You shouldn't use speedos anyway as they can kill your little rangers... they probably cut off all circulation to the area.

That's not really crazy expensive... I know its an older truck but its a new engine and a rebuilt tranny. and don't forget to. Factor in the mods. If it ran good id pay 4 grand for it.
