y would the trans have anything to do with my motor spinning over free with no compression it would not turn over at all if it was out of adjustment

yes i have both sparks and fuel pressure and i have looked at timing mark it has not jumped time

i have also check when it is free spinning all the valve are moving like they should...

i have kinda the same problem i have a 97 ranger 4.0 4x4 and i just got done putting new intake and head gasket in it and i was doing my usual test drive after drove it about 15 miles then it seemed...
