Icy Door
Hey all, my 2001 Ranger has a problem where in the extreme cold some moisture between the inside of the door and the door frame freezes it shut. Is there any kind of spray or something I can put on...

Just remember 4x4s are not immune to snow! I have seen plenty of people (usually in SUVs with 4 wheel drive) end up in the ditch because they thought they could go whatever speed they normally do...

Got it out thanks to Machine coming and helping me. I was missing the adaptor that goes on the end of the extension.

No, it's not locked. I just can't get the extension to seat properly in the mechanism. I can't believe I'm about to call a station for a damn flat tire. Man card revoked.:mad:

Tips for removing spare
Anyone have any tips or tricks to remove the spare located under the bed? I have been trying to get the spare down forever, but can't seem to get the tool to engage to unwind the mechanism.

I just bought a 2001 3.0 V6 with 59,000 miles and the only trouble I've had is the serp belt squealing like crazy the last few days. I don't mind paying for the repairs if needed since the truck only...

I live in Minnesota and I just bought my first Ranger a few weeks ago. The first thing I did was get to Home Depot and get some sand tubes, and 6 tubes (360 lb) seems to do the trick in even 6-8...
