all of a sudden shes running like crap!

SO my 88 2.9 is now hard starting, constantly cranking til fire
2 months ago i did plugs wires cap rotor oil change and belts,
ran fine never have a problem with it fired it up and started...

already did that today in school, heat took them right out and i cleaned the threads,

Tore down the motor down to crank and block,
it is a 1990 moroe and had an automatic trans behind it, 83000 miles on it,
its fairly clean
i know pics are hard to see but here ya go...

yes i am going to pick up the motor this weekend,
and i would like to just have it honed out and cleaned and piut new pistons in and use the same old crank new bearings
do you think thats a good...

my truck means too much to me to junk just cuz of a tired motor.,
found another low mileage motor, but tearing it apart with ALL NEW internals,
any help on what i should do for heads? or cam?

so the other day my ranger wouldent start with the key..
just put a new clutch safety switch in key switch and solenoide.
now..
so when i turn the key to on all the lights come on fuel pump turns...

no this was all proformed before this problem accured as in in the last month then this starting problem happned, i wouldent just start buying un necicary parts

went to napa spent 51.99 got new switch put it in and she cranked over. fired right up!

my clutch switch has 4 prongs tho maby five.. well my father saw me getting frusterated were going to napa in a few if they have one he said hed buy it for me, so wele see guys

so guys ive hever had a problem before and i do now,
i turn the key with clutch engaged and doese nothing, like as if i never pressed in the clutch
i just changed the key switch and starter...

i bought floor pans, weather stripping fuel tank straps tail gate straps rear window slider and dash cover, was all here at one in 5 buisness days

i have a 1988 ranger 4x4 reg cab 7ft bed and i am wondering how good a leavling kit would look?
any advise? i donot want to lift it as it is my daily driver just looking for a good stance

tempature gauge,

my rubber boot that connects to the brass tempature sending unit in the water pump dosent want to stay on, my gauge always reads hot once warmed up, andy help?
can i change the boot?
