I would do an entire rear end swap. I did it in the driveway in three hours. Easier..cheaper..and you can sell your old one to offset the cost.

I have a 2006 with 7.5 rear with 3.73 gears. With 10'' Brakes. I found a rear end with the same specs except that it has 9" Brakes. Does anyone for see any issues doing the swap? I plan on swapping...

Without jacking the truck up and removing the wheel and drum (a pain if its your only mode of transportation), its a lot easier to measure the width of the rear drums. the 10" shoes are 2.5" wide,...

I did the diangnoisis and tore everything apart looking at the bulb and thinking i wish there was a way to replace the bulb..so i went on here..sweet..cant wait to try it!

What is that exactly? I have a number 4 misfire. It had 123k on it so i did all the tune up stuff..fuel&air filter, plus and wires, pcv valve. still same issue.

I spend a lot of time in my truck I average 35k miles a year. I want more room, Im 6'7''..Has anyone relocated the seat further back? I never use the space behind me where the jump seat is anyways.

2006 supercab 3.0 Auto 78mph avg 21mpg. Thats all highway, which i avg about 1800 miles a month. (live South of Detroit and go to Grand Rapids..175 mi one way on weekends) bought it in feb of 2008...
