Yeah, the short wheelbase has saved my ass in some situations. It's also a big part of why the Jeep is so awful on the highway.

Yeah, you guess well. I know my Jeep has its shortcomings -- it's horrible on gas, no power at all, top speed of 73, terrifying to drive on the highway, and it has hardly any cargo space; but...

Ok awesome. Stuff like power windows/locks and A/C I don't care about (my Jeep doesn't have any of that crap!), but no power steering might be a dealbreaker -- I'm not that strong!
