Front drive line! Im having the same issue! Ive fixed the same things, but when i take the front line off, the noise goes away. Try it and see!!!

Back side of your engine on the drivers side, there is a vacuum piece that should be replaced every 60,000. people forget all the time, it might fix your issue...
If not then just go out, buy a 5.0L...

I had that issue as well, oil was ending up in my air box and leaking onto the ground. I lost a lot of oil. I ended up going to a shop that i thought did decent work. They said i needed a new engine,...
