Re: Max tire size for a 1990 Ranger with a small lift?

The 235/70/R15 is about a 28" tire.

A 31 would fill up the gap but would rub when flexed and when you turn.

Re: Max tire size for a 1990 Ranger with a small lift?

Wrong. They changed the body style of the Rangers in 93. The more boxy style of the 1990-92 Rangers will not fit 31x10.50s stock.

If you have a 2 inch lift, you will be able to fit 31x10.50s. ...

Re: Off Road Race Fans?

I am going to try and get to Crandon this summer. It is a great track.

The hill at Bark River was always fun to watch! Some of those guys used to just fly off of it.

Re: anybody here have chronic migraines?

Another option for migraines might be physical therapy.

My wife is a PT and she has been treating migraines with some very good results, especially with people who have had them for many years.

Re: advice?

I have driven both a truck with and without power steering. Do you need it, no. Is it nice to have, yes.

Does it rob power? Not enough to be noticeable. If you think it is robbing power when...

Re: What was your first car?

My first car was a 1984 Renault Alliance. It was a great little car.

My very first truck was my 1990 Ranger. It was a great little truck. I put almost 100,000 miles on it in college. My dad...

Re: Bicycles

I think people are missing one of your main reasons for getting a bike. You are going to be chasing your son around. He is 3. He isn't going to be going that fast right away and won't be able to...

That brings back memories. I worked at a golf course for 7 years. It was the best job I ever had!

Re: FML! Fuel up to $4.15 here.....reason why?

Pooleo, I can add to the MI minimum wage info.

In 1996-97 minimum wage went from $4.25 to $4.75. Then around 2000 it went to $5.15.

Gas back then was around a $1.00 to $1.20

Gas prices...

I agree with Pooleo. I think the Vikings are going to make a try for him.

With all of the problems that they have had the past few seasons they need something to help them. Plus it would give...

Re: Remember the 90's! lol

Sorry but Gen 2 rangers are sexier! They actually look like a truck and not like an El Camino and an F150 had a bastard child. Those mid 90s rangers were just too car looking for me.

Re: Wildland Firefighter or ASE Tech?

Why couldn't you do both?

Go to school to become a Tech and become a volunteer firefighter with a volunteer department that does a lot of wilderness fires.

Find an Early Bronco D44. It is about the right width with the coils as our rangers.

Re: 2wd rangers in snow suck....

2wd Rangers are great in the snow if you take the time and prepare for snow.

You need weight in the box over the axle and you need good tires. Not any of those all season pieces of crap, but good...

Re: The Offical Vent Thread.

Can you call local hotels with pools and see how much it is to use their pool? A lot of hotels offer use of their pools for pretty cheap.
