Sounds like you have a cylinder miss firing especially before going into closed loop fuel control. Scan tool manufactures only put live miss fire monitors in some scan tools and they are expensive. ...

Double check your firing order, and if you have any exhaust leak before your upstream 02 sensors you need to fix them.

Kinda sounds like a bad ground. Make sure you have a ground strap from your engine to your chassis somewhere, also look at both the battery cables and unhook them and clean them. the ground cable...

Yes it does....If your battery is going bad and you keep using it and it decides to take the alternator with it. When you start the car, if it starts it might run for a while but it will want to die...

Take off the air hose that goes from the air filter to throttle body. If it or throttle body has a lot of oil in it you might have blow by problems.

Just as a heads up, you might Want to buy the motor craft thermostat. The after market on doesn't stay in the housing when your installing it, but the motorcraft one does. O'Reilly can get it.
