97 Ranger 2.3L
Just found out I need to replace entire exhaust from engine back. Catalytic converter completly blocked. Looking at $1,300 from a local shop. Sound excessive? Any advice on lowering the costs?

Had the same problem with my 97 Ranger. I was able to fix it this past weekend. Do you still have a problem or did you get it taken care of?

Engine heats up fine. Doesn't seem to be a thermostat problem. Going to work on it saturday. I'll post the results from the core flush.
