If you only need the metal part replaced, I would go to the junkyard and check any Ranger. The difference in the filler hoses from truck to truck is the wheel base of the truck that chages the hose...

Dixie has it right, I have done it also....My friend and I lifted and pulled back the bed enough to rest the bed on the rear wheels. That gave me the room to do what I needed to do. It shouldn't...

I purchased a complete new assembly from ebay motors for under 100 bux. You will need your wheel base information located on the drv dr tag (exp WB125). Dealer wanted $437

I am not sure if yours is the same size as my 1994 3.0 XLT 2WD but I do know that you will need the wheel base information that is on the drv side door tag. (exp. WB125)

Maybe your filler hose is crimped...take it out and inspect the inner hose. If it is crimped you can tighten a stainless steel clamp derectly on the crimp to hold the inner hose round....Good...

1) To get to the fuel pump and fuel lines the truck bed should be removed. Not hard to do.... 6 bed bolts, 1 wire harness plug and 3 small fill hose screws and a friend to help lift the bed and pull...

I had an intermitted problem like that on my 94. After everything else I cleaned the relay contacts and the female board contacts with fine emery cloth. It never happened again ....So Far..LOL

Not sure if there is a fuse for the inertia switch. That might defeat the purpose. The inersia switch has a reset on it. You might want to check to see if it is tripped. I have heard of people...

The only stupid question is the question that is not asked...
The dipstick is an accurate oil level check regardless where the drain plug is located.

The black exterior bottom window trim on my 94 XLT comes off on my hand when it is touched. The black residue also runs onto the white paint after a washing or rainfall.

Beneath my DRV & PASS side windows on my 94 Ranger the Black trim gives off a black resadue that comes off on your hand when you touch it. Do you have a remedy for this ?
