I don't know if I'd worry about the sensor. It's a Hall effect sensor and they tend to be pretty bulletproof. If the wiring looks dodgy sure, but just to do it, I think there are better places to put...

I wound up using a "liquid steel" type epoxy to make the repair and so far so good it's holding watertight.

I'm super happy today, got her smogged and reregistered. Back on the road as of 4pm...

The tube isn't threaded. It looks like it has a flange part way up and it is pressed into the manifold. We'll see.
Parts guy at the dealership suggested a visit to the Dorman site but they don't...

I drilled out what was left inside the manifold assembly and mounted what was left of the old tube(after cleaning it up) with some JBweld.

I'll let it set up and give it a tug or two tomorrow...

While removing the heater hoses from my upper intake manifold one of the tubes broke off flush with the deck. Is this a replaceable part or am I looking for a salvaged manifold?
