That is correct. I do not heart or feel any thing when going stright. It, happons when I am turnning, moving forward or to the rear, the tighter the turn the more noise and thumping I have.

I used GL-5 SAE 90 Hypoid NAPA brand. But I did not put the posi lock additave in when I did the change. It must have over 5000 miles on since the change. The slipping and thumping started yesterday...

How about using a relay conected to an oil pres. switch.
That way, anything powered through it, will not work without the eng. running, that way you have no battery drain.
