Finally got around to messing with this little problem. Ended up spraying a bit if WD40 into the receiver and it took care of the problem completely.

Yeah, sounds like yours is doing the same thing as mine. I can't just push it in there with a normal amount of force like I used to be able to. It's super irritating...

I had to buy new. I asked about getting some turned and I got the same reaction from Autozone, Oreileys, and Advanced Auto. "we don't do that and good luck finding anywhere who does."
