im running 15x10s on my 2000 4cyl 2wd Ranger .....they were on the trck when i bought it along w a 3" body lift, wrapped w ProComp 35x12x15s, looked like a lil monster trck, they were way too big for...

After a auto-store run for fresh bulbs:

1) hi-brk-lite .......replcd bulb................GOOD
2) climate panel...replcd both bulbs........GOOD
3) kenwood DVD...bench test to do, but im still...

well, that fool may have spiked the system (all i can figure)
the DVD may be dead (is my fear, but i have another better one to install)
wut fuddles me is why the illum on the HL...

OK OK.......as a matter of fact the 3rd brake lite does not lite-up (i thought this was odd)
but the cargo lites do, when dimmer is clicked up

i pulled the bulb in the 3rd...

red/black tested w key in RUN and also w engine running

no pwr locks or wndws

----------

it spikes to 12v when starter is engaged, then zeros when motor starts and key is in RUN position

fuse 28 shows continuity on the ohm

i'm ignorant in this, but the owner manual shows fuse28 as : radio, GEM
could this be an indicator the GEM has a prob?

yes , i installed a Kenwood fuse block w/ the DVD player (installed 10-12mon ago), that fuse also shows good

what of that red/blck wire that failed to show 12v in run/start?

re-test the grounds from the frame ...all good

Yellow/Black - 12volts in Acc or Run ................................good
Light Green/Purple - 12 volts at all times ..........................good...

using AUX POWER ground : ohm meter shows continuity w ground lug behind passenger kick-panel (no ground lugs behind drvr-side kick-panel), black & blck/green on...

exactly my thought

radio does nothing (and worked fine as i was watchin The Zohan when i pulled into WallyWorld) and every illum on my dash worked fine before as well

only other things not...

yes, main cluster illums, and all gauges and lights (interal & external) function as well (hazards, brakes, turn flashers, dome, etc)

re-pulled fuses 5, 11, 12 (under hood)
checked each one w/ an ohm meter
all 3 seem good

Recently bought a new battery at WallyWorld, like an idiot i took the free install, when i got my Ranger back .....no pwer to the radio, and no illumination on headlight swtch/dimmer switch/climate...
