Re: 2019 ranger pricing finalized info inside.p

no, you can't get crank windows ;) but I think that has been the case for all of Ford's consumer products for a long time.

Re: 2019 Ranger configurator

I'm thinking 22,000? I didn't pay enough attention to the numbers assuming I could go back and check.

Re: 2019 Ranger configurator

Did anyone else get a chance to see the 2019 Ranger configurator that Ford accidently had live for a few hours yesterday?

I found it about a 1/2 hour before Ford found their mistake and hid the...

Re: 2019 Ranger Thoughts from NAIAS Trip

I think the high belt line is in response to stricter and stricter crash test standards. :-/

Either way you're gunna want to...

Re: Recommend a tonneau style

Re: Ford Ranger Returning in 2019

Yup...the new Ranger will be a Ford version of a Honda Ridgeline; not the simple, (relatively) small, do anything, harder to kill than a ****roach, truck that many of us were hoping for.

Re: What do you think it will be like and would you buy it?

No, I'd like a mid size truck that is a truck, not a 4-door SUV with a marginal bed stuck on the back...

Re: Ford Ranger Returning in 2019

You are entitled to your opinion, just like the rest of us are, but I don't see the point of another large truck.

Re: Ford Ranger Returning in 2019

I like the Ranger for its size, the mileage is definitely secondary. I won't be replacing the Ranger with another Ford product unless it is similar in size to the old Ranger.

If the new Ranger is...

Re: SOHC lower oil pan

I gave up and checked a local shop and they'd do the job for under $250, including an oil change...I guess that is better than spending all weekend doing the job without an engine hoist.

It looks...

Re: SOHC lower oil pan

that's exactly the pan I'm talking about, but my front cross member is a big box about where that tube is in the picture with barely enough room to slide the flat of my hand between the cross member...

Re: SOHC lower oil pan

that's what everybody says...but I can't get to the front 3 bolts, there isn't enough space between the cross member and the oil pan for my hand to get through, much less a wrench :(

SOHC lower oil pan

Hi all,

I'm working on an oil leak on my 2wd 4.0 SOHC 2002 Ranger. I have confirmed the leak is from the lower oil pan gasket. I tried to do the swap today but I can't find anyway to reach the...

Re: What kind of tires?

I just had to make the same decision...I went with 253/75x15 BFG Rugged Terrain's. It has only been a few days but I am happy so far
