try putting the tool into the spring and twisting the fitting while pushing and pulling the garter spring may be rusted and this may release it also some rust penetrant

heater valve should be in the line from the thermostat housing it is there to stop hot water when you are using AC early did come with this valve it was installed after customers complained about AC...

look at the input shaft if the pilot bearing is bad the shaft will likely be blue from heat

the dex iii is quite thin also but they say the mercon V is stickier that causes the problem

ps ford used dex III mercon in that transmission before and sometime after mercon V they...

I would bet that you could on a 93 but it might be iffy on the pressure across the engine

I have read in another forum that mercon 5 in a m50rd1 trans makes it hard to shift try going to dexron IIImerc fluid and see if this don't help

you can use a plain nut with a lock washer on it if you can get to the back of it with a wrench should be ok on bumper bracket bolt

no the bellhousings are in fords infinite wisdom the change bolt patterns when they change the engine production to a new design I wish they had picked a bellhousing bolt pattern in the 50's like...

sounds like the pickup is clear from no suction when turned off for awhile then when started the whatever is sucked onto the screen blocking flow if you have oil pressure when first started I would...

make the new engine look like the older engine and swap the sensors the old was obd-1 new is obd-2 if you change everything over it should be just fine

the hd has one bolt on passenger side that is out of line from the one on the other side it is the middle one this is to miss the camshaft drive

I have a 92 explorer manual it says 10 ounces of oil 7 in compressor and three in the receiver dryer
