Re: 2.5l performance cylinder head

Re: 2.5l major issues please somebody help me :(

If that's the IACV you're referring to, I've already installed a new one and it has done absolutely nothing for me, as well as cleaning out the TB and even using the same top-end cleaner the dealers...

Re: 2.5l major issues please somebody help me :(

Thanks for replying. Unfortunately, the plugs are relatively new, but we have checked them several times and the plugs appear to be fine. We checked for gasket leaks and there aren't any.

Re: 2.5l major issues please somebody help me :(

Well a chief mechanic performed it where we did each cylinder at a time where I assume the baseline was 180 and then when we revved it continuously is where the 210 came from. He said that was good...

The compression test came
back 180 on idle and 210 under load on all four cylinders.

Earlier in my posts, I also listed everything else I have replaced as well on mine.

Re: 2.5l major issues please somebody help me :(

Nope no luck yet on finding the problem. I'm just completely at a loss as to what it could be, and we did replace the upper intake manifold, throttle body, and I think one other gasket, and it made...
