Re: Clutch adjustment?

Re: Auto Transmission slips in Park

Re: Tar covered truck

If they're paying for it, I'd find a good shop and let them invoice the paving company for the whole job.

Re: Headlight upgrade recommendations

Re: Hows your GAS MILEAGE on ur truck? Let me know here.

I'm not sure what to say here, other than you are genuinely confused. That is an abusive way to drive a vehicle, and it's sad that you're teaching this to others.

Re: Hows your GAS MILEAGE on ur truck? Let me know here.

Trying to accelerate at 1200 RPM is lugging the engine and doing absolutely -nothing- good for its longevity.

Re: Hows your GAS MILEAGE on ur truck? Let me know here.

I was just stuck on the hydrogen system. The rest doesn't bother me as much.

Re: Has anyone put a backup camera in there Ranger?

Oh, got it. I though you had one of the ones in the handle.

Re: Has anyone put a backup camera in there Ranger?

Do you have a link to the tailgate camera you used? I'm seeing a few styles on Amazon.

Re: Fan is working. Nothing coming out od vents

About 20 inches. Yes, you can apply that to the line coming from the system to see if they switch properly.

Re: lift kit installation. Is it DYI

There -are- badly engineered/installed lift kits on the road. There is a massive logic disconnect to get from seeing examples of that to claiming that lifts "make it unsafe to drive".

Re: Not starting

Now I'm lost. In post 5 you said it cranked and cranked but didn't start.

Re: Not starting

Good catch, I misread it earlier as a no crank.

Re: Not starting

Need a voltmeter on the input terminal to the solenoid to see if it's getting power when you turn the key and the starter isn't turning.

Re: Fan is working. Nothing coming out od vents

Defrost only typically means you have a vacuum issue. That's the default position with loss of vacuum to the control system.

It would help if you were to stick to preaching about things you comprehended.

Re: lift kit installation. Is it DYI

I'm aware of bump steer, but I don't live my life in fear of a problem that doesn't exist when the right parts are used the right way.

Re: lift kit installation. Is it DYI

wtf? Yes, obviously there are handling -changes- when modifying steering geometry. That's a far cry from the bold claim of being 'unsafe to drive'.

Re: Hows your GAS MILEAGE on ur truck? Let me know here.

12-16 so far since the V8 swap. Not bad with 33's and a lift, I suppose.

Re: Rough idle, oil pressure gauge flickers after driving for a while.

Changing the synchronizer is no big deal if you take photographs and/or mark where the old one is when you remove it, then install the new one to match.
