I ended up just using the gps on my phone to set my cruise at 30 and putting the needle on while driving it wasn't too hard just wanna make sure your not on too busy of a street

Yeah DO NOT TRY What I said earlier it did not work! Also that whole AA battery thing I could not get to work either. I screwed up my speedo and now I am just gonna save up to have the ford dealer...

It actually was because a couple pins are different between those years I would have to switch some pins on the connectors so I just switched them back. But now more issues I have the original...

do you remember where all of those needed to be switched to? i just put a 96 cluster in my 99 it should be the same as what you did i believe, but i have not found which pins any of those are

I put a gauge cluster out of a 96 ranger into a 99 ranger so i would have a tach and now my fuel gauge is on E and I have 2 lights on. One says "fuel reset" and the other "fuel cap". Is there some...

where did you find a wire diagram to know which wires go with which? cuz idk that harness didnt work there werent any instructions and the plugs were wrong for the amp i also broke every clip on that...

so i havent gotten the panel off yet but i found a wire harness that claims you just pull the two plugs from the amp and plug into each end of the harness i purchased it but like i said have not...
