Need an air filter cover
Hi,
does anyone know where I could find an air filter cover for my '84 Ranger?
The engine is 2.0L 4cyl, w/ a 1BBL carb. I've tried local auto parts places, but they don't have the dia. I need....

Thanks for the info! I used to think Chilton manuals were the best source for diagrams, info, but not any more. Do you kow if the Hayes manual shows what each prong is connected to and how?

what are these parts?
Hi,
does anyone know what these parts are? ('84 Ranger 2.0L 4 cyl., 2WD)
1- The metal box (the one w/ the 3 prongs) to the right of the starter relay.
2- The box with the "Ford" logo has relays,...

If the engine is running smoothly, have you tried looking into the tranny gears and/or the differential to make sure they haven't been geared down by a previous owner?
