Yeah it's crazy how they make something strong and durable and do away with it. The Dana 35 , is pretty tough. I plan on doing a swap soon. I'm going with the Dana 30. That's what they put in jeeps ...

The only thing your gonna get for that $ is a front leveling lift of 1.5 or 2 inches. After that an the alignment you will be under 500.00

Well my wallet won't gst me to far right now. Lol. I plan on a year 2 tops, new motor and solid Dana 30 in the front. I'm thinking 5.0 , want fuel injection

The GT is basically factory ground affects. It may be lowered a tad. Not 100% sure on that. It was first gen rangers

Yeah the sohc has a lot more HP. I had that in my 99 explorer, I think there is comfort in knowing I can work on the ohv without pulling the motor. Lol. It is very easy today to do 5.0 swap or what...
