Yes, I ended up gouging the top of my hand within the first 30 sec. I've got heat now though.

folowed the flow chart and it points to the blend door. I found it on top of the box behind the glove box, a white plastic flat square looking thing. mine is electric. how are you supposed to get...

does heater control valve operate on vacuum? If so, should there be vacuum at the little push on fitting on the valve?

Dash gauge was normal, straight up, and the temp knob was all the way to the right.

I have a 2004 ranger 4 control valve. It was still hot so I hadn't used the heater. Today it rained and I turned on the defrosters and got no heat. Blower worked but no heat. Any ideas??
