Slave cylinder replacement

I'm working on my friends 98 Ranger with the 3.0 and 5 speed. The slave cylinder is going out, and he is in basic right now for the Army. His mom is paying me to fix it. I was just wondering what all...

meant to get install pics, but got carried away.
used a USB charger from walmart, took it apart, cut a hole in my dash, and jb welded it. sanded it, painted it, final product....
