Factory radio that will fit 03

My 03 Ranger is a 2wd XL supercab. The radio in it now is the 6 disc changer. It won't play or even load any CDs.

I'd like to replace it. I've read that replacing your factory radio w aftermarket...

I'm not really keen on how Ford does their air conditioning. In most other vehicles, I can set fan speed and mode of operation (defrost, feet, both of those, vent, vent+feet, etc) and control the A/C...

Well I really am posting this to make the notification go away. I just got a used 03 Ranger XT w the 3.0 engine. 192k miles. It's been mostly taken care of other than a short time the previous owner...
