Re: South American Ranger Crew

I don't believe that you can bring a car from another country into the US unless it is "Federalized" will all the emission controls etc. I know because I wanted to bring a new VW Bug from Mexico...

Re: Impressive Battery

Companies stopped making good batteries because they were lasting too long. They were not making enough money in the replacement market, so now they are shitty.

Re: 2010 2.3l

Those ebay chips are a joke. They are nothing more than a diode and don't do anything to improve your engine performance. Don't waste your money.

Re: Break In 2011

There is really no need to change the oil at 200, 500 or 2,000 miles. That is not necessary unless you have money to waste. Also, oil in most new cars have extra 'moly' additive to assist in...

Re: Kinda pissed

After the 20% off offer is over, they will go back to the normal price. It's a scam. Offer a discount, but increase the price.

Re: dish network sucks

I had cable services for many years and also had many issues. I switched to DishNetwork about two years ago and I have to say that I like it. Never a problem, good service (so far), and have no...

Re: Air Blows out through door handles

All vehicles have an outlet/exhaust for inside air. It is a safety device. If the vehicle cabin was hermetically sealed, air would not be able to circulate and passenger could suffer from carbon...

Re: WTF happened to ebay?!!!!

I stopped using ebay almost 2 years ago. They changed their payment method to sellers and that did it.
I rather use Craigslist. Person to person, immediate exchange of goods and money and no fees....

Re: Slave Cylinder Recommendation

Slave cylinders can be a pain. A lot of them are reconditioned and if this process is not done right or with the correct rubber bushings, they will fail promptly. Autozone will keep replacing them...

Re: super slow 4 banger

Maybe the older 4-cyl were slow, but the newer are very peppy. My 2010 will keep up with just about anything out there...while giving me almost 27 mpg's. I've had several 6 cyl. trucks. Yes, good...

Re: First oil change at 7500 miles?

No need to change the oil on your new car at 200 miles, old wives tale. You are just wasting good oil. If you don't feel good changing it every 7,500 miles, then do it at 5,000 miles. Really,...

Re: 2011 Ford Ranger 4x2 in Snow

I like the 4 cyl. on my 2010 XLT. I got almost 29 mpg's on my last trip to GA and the truck only had 1,500 miles, so it will get even better. I don't tow, so I don't care to have a gas guzzling...

Re: 2010 Ranger vibration?

I have a 2010 XLT, 4 cyl. auto and it does not vibrate at low or high speeds. Insist that the dealer look at it now, or take it to another dealer.

Re: Brake line issue Need help ASAP!!!!!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that is the emergency brake cable, not the actual brake line. If that is the case, put a cover over the line. The placement of that line is a really...
