Got the truck about a year and a half ago, started doin this a few months ago. So no, haven't changed the tranny fluid yet. I'll check into that..

Okay, sweet. My dad's truck is the '02 but he's trading it out for a diesel and never got around to installing the 3" body lift. So I was gonna see if it would work on my '08. Thanks.

Transmission lurching/no power
'02 Ranger, 4.0L engine, Auto. When you go to pass another vehicle and give it gas, it'll pause for a few moments and lurch really bad forward and it often times feels like there is no power at all...
