I put one in. -- No heat. Replaced it -- still not heating. Is that a common problem? Could there be two broken t-stats in a row?

I have no heat in my truck. Replaced radiator, thermostat, water pump, coolant. The car will not heat up. The guage barely reads warm. Heat into vehicle slightly warm. Any suggestions?

yes, flushed the system well
it still has the original radiator---should i take that out and flush well first?
what is the best way to test water pump?

If I drive it around town for a longer period it will start to get hot as well.
The fluid is rusty green in appearance.

I put in a new Ignition Control Module and put on some front mud flaps taken from a 1997 parts truck I have. Not bad for a guy that is not very mechanically inclined.
